For certain applications, an accurate phase standard and accurate phase measurement are of great importance.
At the highest level, Calibration Consulting has the instrument for this application in its product range: the Clarke-Hess 5600 phase standard. This is the most commonly used phase standard in calibration laboratories worldwide. Clarke-Hess also offers the 6000A model as an accurate phase meter.
For the calibration of wattmeters, power analysers and power quality meters, a power calibrator or a multi-function calibrator that also allows the phase or angle rotation to be set is often sufficient. For single-phase applications, this can be done with the 9020 from Meatest, for example, and for three-phase applications, the M133 model from Meatest is a good solution. The Yokogawa LS3300 is also a possible solution.
If you require higher accuracy, you can also consider the MI 2100C. This system has been developed specifically for high-power analysers.
