The multifunction calibrators included in Calibration Consulting’s package are manufactured by the European company Meatest and the American company Clarke-Hess.
Meatest calibrators are cost-effective solutions for calibration applications in secondary calibration laboratories, where they function as secondary standards for calibrating the instrument inventory.
Meatest multifunction calibrators are also used in production lines for panel meters, multimeters, converters, measuring amplifiers and thermometers.
Meatest multifunction calibrators have a variety of functions for calibrating DC voltage, AC voltage, DC and AC current, resistance and capacitance. The RTD simulation function is available for calibrating RTDs.
Basic accuracies of 15 ppm for DC voltage and AC voltage from 250 ppm are possible: more than sufficient for the majority of instruments used by most companies. The voltage range is from 0 to 1000 volts and the current range is up to 30 amps.
Meatest calibrators can be used in automated setups via RS232, as bench applications, and portable solutions are also available.
