High voltage calibration
Once we exceed 1000 to 1200V, standard calibrators no longer meet the requirements. However, there are plenty of instruments that can handle higher voltage ranges.
These include Megger, hipot testers, safety testers, but also instrumentation for measuring medium voltage and high voltage on our electricity grid. Calibration Consulting also has the necessary solutions for this instrumentation.
For example, with the Vitrek 4700, we can measure up to 10kV directly at the input. By using intelligent HV dividers, we can even measure up to 100kV.
With the 2500A from MI, we can even go up to almost 1000kV. OhmLabs also has a series of specific high-voltage dividers up to 100kV. In addition, we have high-voltage decade banks from IET and Meatest.
And from ISEG, we also have a precision HV power supply/meter with impressive accuracy. This is another great instrument for calibrating high-voltage decade banks, for example.
