The SHR series from ISEG is a precision DC high-voltage power supply designed primarily for laboratory use. This high-voltage power supply is characterized by its remarkably high precision in both generation and measurement (this type of power supply is also known as an SMU – Source Measuring Unit). The use of the latest ISEG high-voltage technology guarantees minimal ripple and noise values.
This SHR series is available with two or four individually adjustable channels with reversible polarity. You can choose between a 0-2kV/6mA channel or a flexible 0-6kV channel. The latter offers maximum flexibility with three electronically switchable HV ranges. The power supply can be switched to a 2kV, 4kV, and 6kV voltage range with a 4mA, 3mA, and 2mA current range, respectively. In addition to the standard version, a high-precision version is also available. The voltage is adjustable per mV and the current can be read per 100nA. The high-precision model even has a second current range (20µA) with a resolution of 50pA.
This high accuracy makes the power supply particularly suitable for calibrating high-voltage meters up to 6kV. The combination of the accurate high-voltage power supply and the extremely accurate current measurement also makes the unit suitable for calibrating high-voltage decade banks.

Of course, a number of safety features are provided, such as short-circuit protection, overload protection, a safety switch circuit, and adjustable maximum voltage and current. To set up this high-voltage power supply, the SHR series is equipped with a 4.3″ TFT touch screen that displays detailed information. All advanced functions such as logging, graphic display, and customer-specific plugins are also available via the precise jog wheel and buttons. Remote control is possible via the standard Ethernet and USB interfaces.
