GenRad

General Radio, founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1915, provided the tools and instruments that enabled the electronics industry to grow into the giant that fills our lives today with radio, television, computers, mobile phones, DVDs and all the other electronic products in our homes, businesses and cars.

In 2000, IET Labs acquired GenRad’s standards and product lines. GenRad was a pioneer that laid the foundation for modern electronic measuring instruments, while IET Labs continues that tradition today by continuing to manufacture, calibrate and support GenRad products.
