The Meatest M133C is a high-precision AC/DC power and energy calibrator designed for the calibration of power meters, energy meters, transducers and power quality analysers. With a wide frequency range from 15 Hz to 1000 Hz, simulated power up to 3× 18 kVA (AC) and 25.2 kW (DC), and support for both single- and three-phase configurations, the M133C offers a versatile and powerful solution for laboratories and industrial test environments.
Two versions: single-phase and three-phase
The M133C is available in two variants:
> M133C 1F (single phase): Ideal for applications requiring a compact but powerful calibration solution.
> M133C 3F (three-phase): Suitable for the calibration of dynamic 3-phase power meters and mains analysers.
Both models offer precision, fast setting and a wide range of test capabilities, making them applicable in R&D laboratories, industrial quality control and metrology institutes alike.
Striking accuracy and versatility
The M133C offers a phase angle accuracy of 0.01°, contributing to accurate precision calibrations even with complex loads. Harmonic and inter-harmonic simulation up to 63rd order enables detailed analysis on power quality instruments. The three-phase variant can emulate different measurement configurations, such as 3-wire and 4-wire systems, allowing testing of network configurations such as Y (star), Δ (delta) and split phase networks. Floating current outputs allow users to calibrate 3-wire power meters directly without an external reference connection. The optional current coil allows testing of current clamps up to 2250 A, which is a crucial feature for industrial applications and smart-grid components.
Integrated transducer calibration and built-in multimeter
One of the key features of the M133C is the built-in process multimeter, which allows measurement of both the input and output of transducers including electricity meters, grid analysers and smart metering systems in modern power systems.
