The Meatest M631 is an accurate programmable RTD simulator designed for use in calibration laboratories and industrial measurement environments. With a resistance range of 16 Ω to 400 kΩ and an accuracy of up to 20 ppm (0.002%), the M631 provides a reliable solution for simulating temperature-dependent resistances and calibrating RTD sensors, ohmmeters and other precision instruments.

Exceptional precision and stability

The M631 uses real film resistors, resulting in residue-free operation without hidden absolute errors. This ensures that the displayed value exactly matches the actual resistance, making measurements more accurate and reliable. Thanks to low temperature dynamics of only 1 ppm/°C below 2 kΩ, measurement precision is maintained even under varying ambient conditions.

The decade box is also suitable for AC applications, with minimal deviations at frequencies up to 10 kHz, making it particularly suitable for scientific and industrial applications requiring AC measurements.

RTD simulation and calibration functionality

The M631 supports a wide range of RTD scales, including IPTS-68, ITS-90 and nickel-based sensors (Ni 6180), as well as user-definable RTD configurations. Precision in temperature measurement is impressive, with accuracy down to 0.01°C for Pt100 sensors at temperatures between -200°C and 0°C.

Users can convert resistance directly to other units such as temperature, distance and force, making the M631 suitable not only for temperature calibration, but also for broader applications in mechanical and electrical measurement processes.

Quick and user-friendly operation

The M631 features a large LCD screen, which directly displays all important parameters, including overall accuracy. The device supports multiple languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Czech. With a response time of less than 6 ms, settings can be adjusted and applied quickly.

For further efficiency, the device can be remotely controlled via RS232, USB, LAN and GPIB (optional), allowing for seamless integration into automated test and calibration setups.
