Isotech Quick Cal Portable Testers
- Range Low Temperature Quick Cal -12°C to 140°C
- Range High Temperature Quick Cal 30°C to 350°C
- Accuracy from +/- 0.1°C to +/- 0.4°C
- Stability +/- 0.05°C
The Isotech Quick‑Cal range was created for applications where a full‑size dry block or liquid bath is unnecessary. Many industrial, medical and food‑processing environments require speed, portability and simplicity above all else. The Quick‑Cal series delivers exactly that: a compact, lightweight and surprisingly capable temperature tester that is ready for use within minutes.
The range consists of two models — Low Temperature and High Temperature — covering the full span from –12 °C to 350 °C. Both share the same philosophy: rapid warm‑up, intuitive operation and flexibility through interchangeable inserts.
Quick‑Cal Low — portable, versatile and ideal for low‑temperature work
The Low Temperature Quick‑Cal operates from –12 °C to +140 °C, making it particularly suitable for medical devices, sterilisation processes, laboratory work and food‑industry applications.
A defining feature of this model is its ability to run entirely from a 12‑volt battery, turning it into a truly portable calibrator for fieldwork, mobile service teams or locations without mains power. A universal 100–240 V supply is also included.
The calibration well contains two pockets, each 13 mm in diameter and 120 mm deep. The unit is supplied with two sleeves — one blank and one drilled at 6.8 mm — and custom sleeves can be provided for specific sensor diameters.
Warm‑up is extremely fast: from 0 °C to 100 °C in just 9 minutes, with a short additional period for best stability. The stability is ±0.05 °C, and accuracy ranges from ±0.1 to ±0.4 °C, depending on the comparison method used.
Quick‑Cal High — compact, fast and ideal for industrial temperatures
The High Temperature Quick‑Cal covers 30 °C to 350 °C and is designed for industrial applications where speed and practicality matter more than the ultra‑low uncertainties of larger dry blocks.
Its calibration well is larger than that of the Low model: 25 mm in diameter and 120 mm deep, with a removable insert containing five pockets (8 mm, 6.5 mm, 6.5 mm, 4.5 mm and 4.5 mm). Blank and custom inserts are available on request.
Like the Low model, the Quick‑Cal High reaches its setpoint in around 9 minutes, with a few extra minutes for optimal stability. Stability is ±0.05 °C, and accuracy ranges from ±0.4 °C below 100 °C to ±1.5 °C at higher temperatures.
The unit operates from 100–130 V or 200–240 V, making it suitable for global deployment.
Design, portability and ease of use
Both Quick‑Cal models are built for mobility. Weighing only 1.5 kg and measuring 65 × 152 × 175 mm, they fit easily into a toolkit or carry case. A dedicated transport case is available as an accessory. Operation is straightforward, with a 0.1 °C resolution across the full range. The accompanying manual provides practical guidance for achieving the best performance in both laboratory and field environments. For the Low model, a rechargeable battery is available, offering 60 minutes of cooling and 90 minutes of heating. When battery‑powered, the operating range is –10 °C to +123 °C.
The Isotech Quick‑Cal series offers a rare combination of speed, portability and flexibility. The Low model is ideal for low‑temperature and fully mobile applications, while the High model provides a compact and rapid solution for industrial temperatures up to 350 °C. With interchangeable inserts, short warm‑up times and a robust design, Quick‑Cal is a practical and dependable choice for everyday calibration tasks across a wide range of industries.
