The Isotech 580 Oceanus‑6PLUS is one of the most versatile calibration systems in the Isocal‑6 range. With a large 50 mm × 300 mm calibration volume, the Oceanus‑6 can operate as a dry block, stirred liquid bath, stirred ice bath, blackbody source, surface sensor calibrator, and even as an ITS‑90 fixed‑point system for Water and Gallium. This makes the Oceanus‑6PLUS a uniquely flexible and cost‑effective solution for laboratories that need to calibrate multiple sensor types using a single instrument.
Large calibration volume for maximum capability
The enlarged calibration chamber accommodates long sensors and allows multiple probes to be calibrated simultaneously. The standard insert provides six 8 mm pockets, each 250 mm deep, suitable for PRTs, thermistors and thermocouples.
Two models: BASIC (B) and SITE (S)
The Oceanus‑6PLUS is available in two versions:
BASIC (B):
Equipped with a sophisticated temperature controller with dual display for setpoint and block temperature.
SITE (S):
Includes an independent digital thermometer for connecting an external reference sensor, eliminating gradient and loading errors during dry‑block use. Additional features include:
