The Isotech 4520 Europa is a compact yet highly versatile temperature calibrator within the Isocal‑6 family. Covering a range from –45 °C to 140 °C, the Europa can operate as a dry block, stirred liquid bath, stirred ice bath, blackbody source, surface sensor calibrator and even as an ITS‑90 fixed‑point system. This makes it an ideal choice for laboratories that want to calibrate multiple sensor types using a single instrument.
Versatility in a compact form
The Europa features a 35 × 160 mm calibration volume, large enough for multiple sensors yet compact enough for portable use. Distributed heating and cooling zones ensure excellent uniformity, enabling precise comparison calibrations.
Three versions for different workflows
The Europa is available as Basic, Site and Advanced.
- Basic provides clear setpoint and block temperature display.
- Site adds an independent reference‑probe indicator.
- Advanced includes automatic temperature cycling, secure data logging, a full‑colour display and multiple sensor inputs.
Thermal performance
The Europa delivers excellent stability:

Radial uniformity is better than 0.008 °C.
