Isotech 511 Medusa Three‑Zone High‑Temperature Dry Block Calibrator

The Isotech 511 Medusa 3 is the high‑temperature model in the Medusa range, extending the operating limit to 700 °C. Its advanced three‑zone control — with independent top, middle and bottom heaters — creates an exceptionally uniform temperature field across the full depth of the calibration well.

Three‑zone architecture for superior uniformity

At high temperatures, end losses normally create significant gradients. The Medusa 3 actively compensates for these effects, producing a flat, stable temperature profile ideal for demanding comparison calibrations and for realizing ITS‑90 fixed points up to aluminium.

Large calibration volume for long sensors

With a 45 × 285 mm calibration chamber, the Medusa 3 accommodates long PRTs, thermocouples and industrial sensors requiring full immersion. Standard and adjustable inserts are available to support a wide range of applications.
