With an accuracy of 20 ppm (0.002%), a wide resistance range from 1 Ω to 1.2 MΩ, and a temperature dynamic of only 1 ppm/°C, the M632 is one of the most advanced decade boxes on the market. Thanks to the use of highly stable foil resistors, this instrument offers exceptional precision and reliability.

Outstanding precision and stability

The M632 is designed to operate without residual resistance, which means that the displayed values correspond exactly to the actual resistance values. This prevents hidden error corrections and simplifies the calibration process. (The device is built with extremely low temperature dynamics, ensuring consistent performance under varying conditions.) The decade box can also be used for AC applications, with a typical frequency response up to 10 kHz. This makes the device suitable for calibrating measuring instruments, industrial tests and scientific research projects.

Advanced functionalities

In addition to standard resistance settings, the M632 also offers advanced features, such as displaying resistance values in alternative units such as temperature (RTD simulation), distance and force. This makes the decade box versatile for a wide range of calibration and test scenarios. All functions of the M632 can be controlled remotely via RS232, USB, LAN and IEEE488 (GPIB), allowing the device to be easily integrated into automated test systems and production lines.

RTD simulation and temperature calibration

The M632 supports a wide range of RTD simulation scales, including IPTS-68, ITS-90 and various Ni sensor configurations. Its precision in temperature calibration is unrivalled, with an accuracy of up to 0.01°C for standard platinum RTDs (Pt100 – Pt20000). This makes the M632 ideal for applications such as temperature sensor validation and scientific research.
