The Isotech Model 983 Small Hot Plate is a portable and accurate calibration system designed specifically for calibrating surface thermometers and temperature-sensitive sensors. High-Quality Calibration Performance

The Model 983 Small Hot Plate is designed with a 71 mm wide flat calibration plate, manufactured from precision-milled aluminium for optimal heat transfer. A flat coil heating element and an integrated block ensure uniform heat distribution, limiting uncertainty to ±1°C. For maximum accuracy, a calibrated reference sensor can be placed next to the test probe to allow direct comparisons. The calibrator also supports heat conduction paste or liquids in a recessed disc, further improving thermal coupling.
