The KVVB from Ohm-Labs<\/a> is a compact, economical, and highly accurate voltage divider for DC voltage measurements up to 10 kV. Thanks to its small size, improved connections, and high stability, this instrument is ideal for fixed installations, mobile applications, and calibration purposes.<\/p>\n

Compact and Accurate<\/h3>\n

The KVVB is designed for situations where space is limited but accuracy must not be compromised. The standard models offer a division of 10,000 volts to 10 volts or 1 volt, with a ratio accuracy of less than 0.01 percent across the entire voltage range. This accuracy includes calibration uncertainty, temperature effects between 18 and 30 degrees Celsius, and expected stability over twelve months.<\/p>\n

Improved Design<\/h3>\n

A recent design update has equipped the KVVB with 5-pin low-thermal-EMF binding posts for the output, which minimizes thermal voltages. The older open input terminal has been replaced by a high-voltage cable with a lockable connector, which enhances safety and reliability. Four mounting holes in the housing make permanent installation easy.<\/p>\n

Flexible Configurations<\/h3>\n

In addition to the standard models, custom voltage ratios and output levels are also available, often at no additional cost. This makes the KVVB suitable for a wide range of applications in laboratories, production environments, and field measurements. Previous designs from Julie Research Labs remain supported and compatible.<\/p>\n

Calibration and Support<\/h3>\n

Every KVVB comes with an ISO 17025-accredited, traceable calibration. Ohm-Labs also offers calibration services for high-voltage instruments from other manufacturers. The KVVB comes standard with a two-year warranty.<\/p>\n

Specifications<\/h3>\n

Model KVVB-10-1 has an input of 10,000 volts and an output of 1 volt. Model KVVB-10-10 offers an output of 10 volts. The standard resistance is 50 megaohms, with an output resistance of 5 kiloohms (at 1 V) or 50 kiloohms (at 10 V). The dimensions are 11.4 by 7.6 by 2.5 centimeters, and it weighs only 340 grams.<\/p>\n

For Higher Voltages<\/h3>\n
