While heatpipe furnaces offer excellent stability, their operating range is limited by the working fluid. The 17703 overcomes this limitation by using top and bottom guard heaters to minimize temperature gradients and create a highly uniform thermal environment.<\/p>\n
The furnace core is machined from aluminium bronze, chosen for its excellent thermal conductivity and low axial gradients.<\/p>\n
