The instrument offers a wide temperature range from ambient temperature to 1000 \u00b0C, allowing all types of SPRTs to be annealed in accordance with ITS-90 guidelines. Why annealing is essential<\/h3>\n

During normal use, SPRTs undergo mechanical stresses in the platinum winding, leading to work hardening and subtle changes in resistance. This can affect the stability and traceability of the thermometer. Regular annealing restores the structure of the platinum and returns the sensor to optimal condition.
