The system delivers voltages up to 600 V, currents up to 100 A, and supports all power factors, from fully inductive to fully capacitive. With a best uncertainty of < 30 µW/W, the 2100C is among the most accurate commercial power standards in the world.

A complete solution for power, energy, and watt-hour

The 2100C is designed for calibrating wattmeters, energy meters, watt-hour meters, watt transducers, and VA measurements. Its fully automated, self-balancing architecture allows up to three wattmeters to be calibrated simultaneously, saving significant time in high-throughput laboratories. The system generates any desired combination of voltage, current, and phase angle, allowing both active and reactive power measurements to be performed under sinusoidal conditions.

Traceability at the highest level

The 2100C includes an internal standard resistor for in-phase measurements and a standard capacitor for quadrature measurements. Both components are supplied with an NRCC-calibrated certificate. In addition, the voltage is measured via an AC/DC Transfer Standard in combination with the 2501A High Voltage Divider, which offers an uncertainty of less than 10 µV/V. This ensures that the transfer standard always remains within safe voltage limits (max. 120 V), while the system can still generate up to 600 V. The internal resistance and capacitor can also be recalibrated by the system itself against an external standard, such as the MI 7050 AC resistance.

Modular design for maximum flexibility

The 2100C system consists of a series of MI instruments that together form a fully integrated power standard:

> 2000B Power Comparator
> 2002 Quadrature & In-Phase Current Source (10 mA)
> 2701A Transconductance Amplifier
> 2003A/100 Auto-Ranging Current Transformer
> 2001B Detector Amplifier
> 2501A AC Precision Divider
An external AC source with high current option and an AC/DC Transfer Standard complete the system. All components are centrally controlled via IEEE-488 and MI’s menu-driven software.

Intuitive software with comprehensive analysis

The software makes it easy to change voltages, currents, power factors, and measurement settings. During the measurement, statistics such as mean, sigma, standard deviation, and variance are automatically calculated and displayed in the calibration report.

The interface supports:

> automatic balancing
> automatic measurement sequences
> adjustable wait times and measurement cycles
> drivers for various wattmeters, DVMs, and transfer standards
> export to reporting formats

This streamlines the entire calibration process and makes it reproducible.

Designed for professional use

The system comes in a robust, mobile rack setup with a pull-out tray for the instrument under test. All connections are located at the front, making it easy to change UUTs. With a height of 1.8 meters and a weight of 350 kg, the 2100C is designed for stability, safety, and long-term reliability in professional laboratory environments. The system operates within an ambient temperature range of 18–34 °C and a humidity range of 10–80% RH, and supports all common mains voltages from 100–240 V.

A future-proof system

The 2100C Power Calibration System offers a unique combination of accuracy, automation, and flexibility. By integrating voltage, current, phase angle, and traceability into a single, fully automated system, it provides a powerful and future-proof solution for laboratories operating at the highest level of power metrology.

600 Volt – 100 Amp

Menu Driven Software

Watt Hour & Energy Meter Calibration

Best Uncertainty < 30 µW/W

All Power Factors

The Measurements International 2100C Power Calibration System is an advanced, fully automated primary standard system for generating and measuring
"_seopress_social_twitter_img_attachment_id":0
[249,250,260

post-39697","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-calibration-en","product_cat-electrical-calibration","product_cat-power-energy","first","instock","shipping-taxable","product-type-simple
["GET
