Covering a range from 450 \u00b0C to 1100 \u00b0C and offering an emissivity of &gt;0.995, the Oberon R provides an exceptionally stable and uniform radiation field for calibrating infrared thermometers, thermal imagers and radiometric sensors.<\/p>\n<h3>Sodium heatpipe for exceptional isothermy<\/h3>\n<p>At the core of the Oberon R is a sodium heatpipe, engineered to deliver extremely low thermal gradients along the furnace core. Once the heatpipe reaches conduction temperature, the inner wall becomes highly uniform, creating ideal conditions for blackbody radiation. The design prevents thermal expansion stresses between the inner and outer walls, and the working fluid is permanently sealed within a plasma\u2011arc welded enclosure for long\u2011term reliability.<\/p>\n<h3>Designed for high\u2011temperature fixed points<\/h3>\n<p>The Oberon R is ideal for realizing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&gt; Aluminium fixed point<\/li>\n<li>&gt; Silver fixed point<\/li>\n<li>&gt; Copper fixed point<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These primary blackbody fixed\u2011point cells are available as options and, combined with the Oberon R, form a highly accurate reference for advanced IR calibration.<\/p>\n<h3>Blackbody operation from 450 \u00b0C to 1100 \u00b0C<\/h3>\n<p>Beyond fixed\u2011point realization, the Oberon R functions as a variable blackbody source across its full temperature range.
