This model has a basic accuracy of 0.01°C, with a resolution of 0.001°C. The decade bank itself consists of highly stable foil resistors, switched by relays resulting in a temperature coefficient of 1 ppm/°C. The M631 can be used as RTD temperature sensor simulation (temperature mode in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit) and as a standard resistance decade bank. The decade bank uses an internal power supply with a very low noise level. This simulator can also be used for AC applications.

The Meatest M641 is also a programmable RTD simulator but with a range of 10Ω to 300kΩ. This model has a basic accuracy of 0.1°C and a resolution of 0.001°C. The simulator consists of “High load” resistors switched off by relays. The Meatest M641 can be used as RTD temperature sensor simulation (temperature mode in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit) or as a standard resistance decay bank. The M6xx series has been designed to make resistance calibration as simple as possible. The clear LCD display shows all related parameters, including the total accuracy.

All functions can be controlled remotely via an RS232, USB, LAN or GPIB interface. This makes the M6xxx series extremely suitable for application in an automated (ATE) environment. In this way, the calibration/test phase can be simplified in many cases, resulting in a reduction in calibration/test time.

Meatest has designed two programmable RTD temperature simulators for the simulation of resistance-based sensors.
